Local Stimac Brothers Expand Auto Glass Business with New Downtown Hibbing Location

Bringing Trusted Windshield and Residential Glass Services Closer to Home

HIBBING, Minn. – Brothers Jeff and Jerry Stimac are bringing their trusted auto glass services to their hometown expanding a business that has been serving the region for more than 75 years.

Arrow Auto Glass & Door, a long-standing name in glass installation and repair across the Iron Range, has officially expanded into downtown Hibbing with a new location at 620 E. Howard Street, the former Taktran bus building.

Owned and operated by the brothers, the business expands their Virginia location with a second location, offering professional windshield replacement, mobile auto glass repair, and custom residential glass solutions.

“We saw a gap in local specialty glass services in Hibbing especially for residential glass and windshield work,” said Jeff. “This expansion allows us to bring our experience and customer-focused approach to the community where we grew up.”

The Stimac brothers, both Hibbing High School graduates, have been involved with Arrow Auto for years and officially took ownership in 2021. Jerry has been with the company since 2005, and Jeff has been a part of the company for seven years.

Their Virginia location provides a full range of services from heavy equipment glass to storefronts, shower doors, mirrors, and custom installations.

The new Hibbing location will primarily focus on:

  • Windshield repair and replacement
  • Residential glass: picture windows, mirrors, storm windows and patio doors
  • Custom shower glass enclosures

“We want Hibbing customers to receive the same level of service our Virginia customers receive,” said Jerry. “That includes everything from offering loaner vehicles and a waiting area to pick-up and delivery services.”

Known for their commitment to customer service, the Stimac brothers have built a reputation for going above and beyond—whether that means picking up a vehicle from a customer’s home or providing a loaner. Their goal is to make the process as smooth and convenient as possible.

“What truly sets us apart is our customer-first approach,” said Jeff. “We’re committed to high-quality work, clear communication, and making sure every customer feels taken care of.”

The brothers bring complementary strengths to the business. Jerry, a St. Cloud Technical College graduate, has worked in auto glass for nearly two decades, including at Village Glass in Hibbing. Jeff, who handles operations and strategic growth, previously held leadership roles in Twin Cities tech companies before returning to the Range 12 years ago.

The new location is already drawing attention as one of the only local providers of custom residential glass services.

“We’ve invested in technology and training to offer precision glass work for homes and vehicles,” Jeff said.

The Stimac family has lived in Hibbing for four generations. Both brothers say they’re proud to reinvest in their hometown and support community.

“The most important part for me is being involved in Hibbing and giving back to the community,” said Jeff. “It truly means a lot to be able to do that.”
